Assuming anyone even still comes here anymore, a bit of an update:
In case anyone was wondering, Hong is on sabbatical. Some of you may have seen his farewell post on /jp/. To be honest, I missed it and wasn’t aware of it until a good little while later. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I didn’t have access to the website, and therefore was unable to really update any of you. I’m not sure why I never thought of contacting Ryuunotamashii about it, but I didn’t until this obvious solution was pointed out to me by the guys over at LWB. Even more thanks to them for pointing out how much of a dumbass I can be at any given time. Anyway, that taken care of, I’ll try to keep you guys up-to-date about stuff, assuming I continue to do releases.
On that note, I’d really like to get an editor for Grappler Baki. I have translated a nice chunk of chapters that have not been released and if anyone would be willing to edit for this series, I’d love to continue it.
On the subject of Oriental Sacred Place: I translated the last few chapters awhile back and the editing is being handled by ViVid Translations. As I am, once again, only a translator and not an editor, and that’s what they’re stuck on, I honestly can’t give an ETA for when the last chapters will be coming out, but I assure you that they will be coming out.
On the subject of any future hentai releases: I’ll be honest, I don’t have as much interest in these as I do non-hentai stuff like Baki, OSP, and ViVid. Similarly, I can work on said non-hentai releases in the comfort of my work place, whereas hentai releases take up my rapidly thinning free time. That said, Afro Scans has shown interest in editing future hentai releases that I may do, especially of the Touhou variety (which, let’s be honest, is probably some of the stuff I’m more likely to be interested in), so the possibility of joint projects exists, just… don’t expect them all that regularly.
